Default ES 350 random seat position change

Hi,

{Lexus ES 350 2009}

I've been noticing random passenger seat position change lately but never took it seriously until now.
For past two days, I found out that in the morning, passenger seat is moved all the way to the front with the back tilted forward. Is there some kind of reset happening over night? The memory button works fine and brings the seat back to it's registered position.

Thanks

Any chance that you are using a different/second key fob that might have been programmed with a different seat memory setting?

That wouldn't effect the passenger seat though.

Does this car have a memory passenger seat?

^^^^It's an option, part of the UL package. Sort of a silly option, IMHO. I have it on my F, my wife's ES only has memory on the driver's seat. Again, IMHO, it's a required item for the driver's seat, but not the passenger's side. In the four years I've had my F, I've used it once, to set it. It's never been missed on my wife's ES.

no, I am the only driver and using only one fob. Both the seats have two memory setting and they all work fine with the push of button. It's just that the passenger seat changes it's position sometime in middle of night.

Look for the second key fob, make sure it isn't stuck in your favorite couch or chair! Happened to a friend.
