I just picked up our Lexus this morning.
2013 ES350
Matador Red Mica, Black Leather interior
Blind Spot Monitoring
Split 10 spoke 17” Wheels
HID headlights
Power Rear Sunshade
Luxury Package
Hard Disk Drive Navigation
Park Assist
Rain Sensing Wipers
Wood and leather trimmed steering wheel/shift ****
Body Side Moldings
Rear Lip Spoiler
Trunk Mat, Cargo Net, Wheel locks, Bumper App
MSRP = 44,416.00
Bought for 39,872.00
OTD price = 40,500
S.C. has a maximum automobile sales tax of $300 which helps keep the OTD price down.
I was happy to be able to purchase from a local dealer about 5 miles from my home, especially since I discovered the service director is an old friend. The transaction was pleasant and low pressure.
This is my wife’s car and I get her hand-me-down 2010 Acura TSX with 20k miles.
I really appreciate the information posted on this forum. It was very helpful in the vehicle purchasing process.

Hey Charlie.....you did well. I'll be looking for you around town. I'll be taking mine in for service soon. Hopefully the you get to drive it once-in-a-while. Red is a great color.

My least hassle car purchase ever:
I took my 2005 ES 330 to my dealer for an oil change. The plan was to checkout the 2013 ES models while waiting but there were none in the display room (the room was filled with many other models but not one single ES). My salesman told me that a trailer was just arriving and there was an unsold ES 300h on it. After an hour delay for their new car prep/inspection I gave it a test drive and checked the trunk size (my biggest concern for the hybrid model) and decided it was a good fit for my needs. My price negotiation was essentially a request for a really good price if I was to buy it right then and I received the following offer which I thought too good to refuse:
ES 300h MSRP (including delivery): $46,803
Discount: $5,803 (12.4%)
Discounted Price: $41,000
Plus a better than "excellent" trade-in value (based on Kelley Blue Book) for my old car and I said yes on the spot and drove the car home that same day.
1,000 miles later I have changed from 20 mpg on premium with the ES 330 to 43 mpg on regular and absolutely no regrets. I know I will miss the larger trunk space of the ES 350 and I think it is a shame that Lexus did away with little creature comforts like the passenger side hook we used for hanging a trash bag on trips and the overhead compartment which always held sunglasses and a comb. Also I agree that the Nav system is marginal at best compared with $150 stand-alone units and I wonder why Prius can offer a 10 year, 150,000 mile battery warranty and Lexus only offers 8 years and 100,000 miles, but nothing is perfect and I will remain a satisfied customer as long as my car gets me reliably from A to B in comfort and safety. And regarding safety, the Backup Camera, Blind Spot Monitor, and Intuitive Parking Assist are safety accessories I now consider to be essential.

Hi - the lease rate right now looks really great ($339 for a $40k MSRP)! Yes it is only for 27 months and 10k miles - but still seems like a solid offer! Anyone have experience with this lease? Also, since it ends in 6 days and they are getting closer to the new model coming out - what should we expect to see for October? Any chance of a better deal?
Thanks all!
Thanks all!

Is this a good deal?
Lexus ES 300h with nav.
MSRP $46,918 (includes delivery of $910)
Sale price $41,223 + TTL
I do have to finance at least $10,000 through LFS to get the $1000 bonus cash, but I plan to pay that off after 1 month - they said no prepayment penalty.
I told them that I would think about it and decide tomorrow. So should I pull the trigger? Also, anyone else have experience with paying off a LFS loan after just one month?
Some feedback today is appreciated.
