I put the details of my deal in the Carfax effect thread that I started but I thought the details should go here as well.
I picked up my 2013 ES350 yesterday. Nebula Grey with the light Grey interior. The has Blind spot monitor, 17" split 10 spoke wheels, HID headlights, power rear sunshade, the luxury package, Navigation, Parking assist, rain sensing wipers, heated steering wheel, and the accessory package with wheel locks, trunk mat, and rear bumper app. Sticker was $44,048. Invoice was $41,665. I traded a 2008 Nissan Altima SL with 53,000 miles, original tires, original brakes. Very, very clean, well maintained, etc. Problem with the trade is that the car was hit in the rear 3 years ago and that accident shows up on Carfax.
I felt that the car was worth $10K in cash money. Dealer started out way off from that because of the Carfax. Some other forum members suggested taking the car to Carmax for an appraisal and then work from there.
I did. Carmax offered 8K. I got the car described for $32,000 plus the Nissan, plus tax title, fees. The trade was figured at the $10K I valued it at against a sales price of 42K. That saved $625 in MA sales tax. Very happy with the deal. Really like this dealer. They have been servicing my 2010 ES350 since I got it from another local dealer that was not a place I was happy with.
Thanks to everyone that offered advice to make the transaction happen.

msrp $40515, dealer price $38988 drive out plus free tint. Is that a good deal? Tax rate 6.25%. Sale price is a little more than 10% off msrp. Please advise. Thanks.

Purchased ES300h in Franklin, TN just south of Nashville. Got Luxury package for $500 under invoice, paid cash, no trade. Dealer fee was $400, refused to pay for the $199 "laser etched windows for theft protection" or get any of the "pain protection" or interior sprays. I was very happy with the deal. I worked with Steve Iler-nice guy.

Got a great deal via Costco for my 2013 ES400h-- with tax way below 50K (and I got ultra-luxury and extended warranty and maintenance). Everything pre-negotiated. Live in Oakland and had to go all the way to Colma to get it as that's where the Costco-related dealer is in my area. Traded in my old RX400h which was originally my father's before he passed and had 170,000 miles on it due to my father's extensive driving. I wanted my car in Cerulean Blue which is hard to find at this time, but they managed to get one from Japan just a little over two weeks--just today. I love my new car!

I had asked what to do as far as my lease was concerned because I was in a 2010 es with 64K miles and over about 16k miles. I was told over and over again to buy it out etc I was almost ready to until this deal came through. Got the car for about $38,500, the MSRP is $44k and change.
Lease: 42 months, 15K miles, fully loaded $547 a month, only inception fees down which included the first month payment.
No over miles charges, no charges cause the front tires were almost bald. Walked out of my lease clean and clear 4 months before it ends.

Thank you! Thank god it worked out. Paying only $47 more a month but the difference between this and the 2010 es is night and day. Love it!!! Just now gotta see which gives better gas mileage as far as sport or normal or Eco. I really wanted a tesla but can't afford the 15% down haha.
