I searched the mobilelink website and found the information concerning the iPhone 4S. My wife just switched from the Blackberry to the iPhone. The Blackberry allowed text messages to be read out load, but the iPhone doesn't. We are upset for not doing the research earlier. I assumed that the top car would ensure the top phone is able to be used. If anyone has any insight or can educate me in any way, please do. Does anyone know of an update or if I am doing something wrong?
Cool thing is that I use siri to dictate texts so I can respond to the original text. The bluetooth connection in the car allows use of the car's microphone for use with siri. If there is music or audio playing, it is turned off as soon as I press the microphone button on the iphone to use siri. Once I have completed the dictation, and turn siri off, the audio is restored in the car. Very cool!

Lexus Test Driver
This has nothing to do with Microsoft Developers. Lexus needs to develop an app. This is absolutely shortsighted on Lexus' part.
Windows Phone is slated to surpass IOS in just a few years according to IDC and Canalys. Very foolish for any car company to pick sides that could cause any individual to question a purchase because their contracted phone won't take advantage of features the car company is touting.
As far as Bluetooth and audio streaming, no worries. Windows Phone has been doing this with Toyota vehicles for since its inception. In fact even better than IOS. Windows Phone was the first to have the latest Bluetooth stack that supported reflecting song titles on the vehicle display and switching tracks using vehicle controls (steering wheel, etc)

We just purchased a 2013 ES350. I have the galaxy S3 and wife has the IPone5. They both work great. The enform app works fine. The Bluetooth connectivity is perfect. Why would anyone consider getting anything that is associated Windows. Windows program is crap. Why would you put crap in a lexus?
