Would these wheels look stupid?
Two questions:
1) The stock 17" tires have a 55 series profile. 19" should have a 35 series profile.
Would it look stupid to use a bigger sidewall like 19" with a 45 series profile on a '13 ES?
Reason would be to decrease the big wheel well gap without lowering the vehicle. I'd be willing to accept the speedometer error.
2) How do you think these wheels would look on a '13 ES?

Not a fan of those and too many wheel styles but these Vossen's look great.
I don't think your decreasing wheel gap.The tires are just a lower profile.The lower profile tires may make the gap look even bigger.
