Default Good info

Thanks for the info guys.. Def gonna go get my remote start before the winter storms hit. It saved my hind-parts with digging my last vehicle out of the snow.

I have an old one with this
remote remote
- installed in 2011 I think. I've had to replace the battery twice I think, but works good. I love the two way that shows it started, locked etc because I can't see my car from inside my building. It's supposed to have 1 mile range, but that's with no obstructions. Usually i walk to a window and have no problem and my car is like 200 yards away, sometimes I can get it to work from the otherside of the building, but the remote doesn't have as good as reception as the car, so it starts but doesn't tell me. Anyways, recommend whatever their latest two way remote is. I probably spent $250 plus $200 to install at Best buy i think. It's been worth it to me.

Either look in the yellow pages for "stereo installation" or search google for "stereo installation Detroit". Almost all of these places will sell and install a remote starter for you.
Look for an accredited shop on the Viper.com site for your zip code.

Smart phone start/control thru Viper seems to be an excellent deal. They charge less than half what Lexus has been charging me since 2017. I'm going to get it installed next week and tell Lexus to go pound sand.
