No Picture in the DVD player (Brake ON)
Hi,
I'm having problem and I don't know what is the causes of the problem, the problem is when I want play a dvd movie in my car and after I pressed "PICTURE" and after the DVD Hint message I'm having only black screen with only sound. The brake is on and my car is the the parking, Can anyone tell me what is the problem?
Everything in the audio system is normal it can read sound from (CD, AUX, Radio) but only the picture on the DVD movie is not showing!!
The CD of DVD movie was working but suddenly now is not working and I tried it in other ES350 car and it's working fine !!

Did it used to work and now stopped? Or is this the first time you tried to do this? Have you tried it with the engine off?
What model year is the car that worked and what year is the car that did not work?
Were all settings the same in both? Do both have the same options?
Where is aa? Outside the US? If so, were both cars originally bought in the same country? If not, they may be configured differently depending on local laws.

Yes it was working fine and suddenly having only sound with black picture, I tried another DVDs but getting same problem.
My ES is ES 350 model 2008 with mark Levinson (DVD) also I tried this DVD and it's working with another car same my model
.

OP, stating "brake on" are you referring to the Parking Brake or just the regular foot operated brakes?
For the player to display a picture along with audio. the Parking Brake must be engaged.
