Default Blacking out my 07 ES350

Hi guys, I purchased my 07 es350 about a year ago with 35k miles. My old car was a 04 es330. But that's besides the point. I am planning on tinting my windows 35% all around except the windshield, plasti dipping my wheels gloss black and my emblems gloss black as well. Does any one have a blacked out es350 on here who would be willing to put up some pictures of it. I'm curious to see how the end product will turn out.

I'd be curious to see some pics of your rear bumper after you remove the "LEXUS" & "ES350" emblems as I am looking to remove them permanently but am worried about ghosting after 8+ years.

In the meantime here are some pics from November 2007 of my '08 Smoky Granite Mica at 35%...

@codejd how is the visibility at night with tints on the front? And I don't plan on removing my emblems just plasti dipping them as well.

I'll be taking my "LEXUS" and "ES350" off here either this weekend or next week I think. I'll post pics. Hopefully it turns out ok.

I've got 35% on mine. Visibility at night isn't bad at all as long as there is some light source nearby like a street lamp. But if there isn't, I have to roll down some windows.

On a sunny day the tint is very light looking. On a cloudy day, it looks significantly darker.

And as far as tint goes, and I say this traveling between 3 states for work every day, I'd say over half the tint jobs that I see are illegal. A lot of them come from the factory like that too.

You don't need to remove to dip?

I'm thinking of getting tint too...what brand of tint did you choose?

I think just run of the mill 3M brand. It was like $225 out the door from a local guy with a good rep.

Hey, did you ever go through with doing this? I am having mine done professionally on my 07 es350 which is the black as well. Having all the chrome glossy black.
New to CL! I just got mine done, will upload better pics. Ended up getting 5% all the way around. Plasti dipped the front grille but left the emblem and trim chrome as well getting the wheels dipped black onyx/gun metal gray. Car looks just right in my opinion opted not to go black wheels didn't want the too aggressive look but the set up now retains the refinement of Lexus. Wheels + grille dipped
