DYI Brakes
I'm looking to do the front and rear brakes on my 2010 ES350 and have a few questions:
1. Ordering a kit that includes rotors and pads, but do I need to order a hardware kit too with all he clips?
2. Any good tutorials on here or YouTube? I looked around and saw one for a 2007 GS, but didn't find one specifically for the 2010 ES.
3. Any major "gotcha's" that are unique to this car?
Thanks!

I've seen my mechanic do 2 brake job on my ES350 2008, nothing complicated. He ask me on both job to have the toyota clips and shims for my ceramic and semi-metallic pads. Everything is plug and play, no special tools needed.

Most kits will include the springs that go on the pads but not the rubber boots and pieces that go on the sliding pin. The ACDelco 18K1892X has everything you gonna need; only $11 on Amazon. You also need to get the right grease, one that is compatible with metal AND rubber/EPDM. Silicone grease is good but the best is Silaramic as it is rated to 3000 degrees. It's pricey but will last a long time.
Which kit are you getting? Don't say Max.
