2007 transmission delay in accelerating
I have recently purchased a 2007 Lexus and just starting having a problem when trying to accelerate when I first start to car and try to move forward.
Basically I put the car in drive accelerate, the RPM is high but the car moves at a snails pace of at all.
Live in New England.
Any advice is really appreciated.

Sounds like it's slipping. Take it back if covered by warranty.
Some things to try include disconnecting the battery for about 15 minutes; this resets some computer values and may fix it if delay is caused by computer.
Check ATF level. Low level can cause trany to slip.
Finally, do an ATF flush - not drain and refill, but a full flush. Takes about 12 quarts.
Good luck.
