I want to make the image on my backup camera brighter when reversing at night. Which bulbs would I need to upgrade, the license plate or the reverse bulbs.
I have a 2011 ES350 with navigation and backup camera.

You want to replace your reverse bulbs. I did it on my wife's 2010 ES350 about a week after we bought it at the end of September and it made a big difference. It was a fairly easy job and took about 20 minutes. I purchased mine from VLEDs. The ones that I bought were: High Performance 921 LED Reverse Lights. The other change that I made that made a big difference was to replace the light in the trunk with a bright LED. It is so much better now in the dark.

Sounds good, thanks. I also upgraded my interior and trunk with LEDs from VLED.

I've been doing some research on the 921 LED bulbs and found Philips 921 Vision. Are the Philips of the VLEDs better for my application.
