Default Upgrade HID to LED headlights, anyone?

My 2007 ES would be more awesome with LED headlight bulbs.
Has anyone tried to use the newly available LED replacement bulbs?

Im 1000% sure the UL did not come with halogens.

Why do you want to switch out the stock xenon hids?

I have too much money, and want LED headlights.

I know I have HID OEM lights, as in the thread title...

Anyone else?

The biggest problem will be your HID housing because LED's are made to fit in H7 bulb hole but not in HID hole so...maybe you need some kind of adapter.

AFAIK, LED's are not as good as HID's and from the outside you will not see any difference.

You will also have to bypass the ballast. LEDs don't need one and they will most likely come with something to reduce the flicker. So it isn't a straight swap.

If you move from HIDs to LEDs, brightness will be an issue; no reliable LEDs are as powerful as HIDs, as you might know. I would think at least 25-30% perceptible brightness reduction.

If that is acceptable, please check out Xenon Depot LEDs; they are $ 120 and usually have coupons on their site. I've used their HIDs and LEDs (for low beam) on my 2007 ES 350 and love it. I have their HIDs on my Camry Hybrid 2015 as well. Very knowledgeable and friendly guys selling top-notch quality products at a fair price and very reliable. All products come with good printed instructions else they are a phone call away.

I've posted a review of my upgrade last week but it's not been approved by the moderators. Feel free to ask any questions.

Money can fix anything. I would contact one of these lighting specialist and see if they have experience on modifying headlights to do what you want to. Look at some of these custom hot rod shops and see if they would have a source to do this type of mod. Then buy 2 new headlight units and let them do the mods giving you a turn key installation. Let us know when you get this done.
