Do Toyota/Lexus 3.5 L engines dislike synthetic oil?

This is not a direct follow to the thread but this is my first post so bear with me. I bought my 2012 ES350 a few months back and it had 5w-30 part synth (mobil1?) My first oil change cam an i told the mech that I wanted full synth. Well, they put in 5w-30 FULL synth. Now the car is runny hard. I've read elsewhere on this forum that 0w-20 is the choice for Full synth. I this the case? The car is definitely running rougher. What would be the appropriate Full synth to replaced 5w-30 part synth?

Regarding your comment about the change by Toyota to 10k oil change intervals.......
Don't forget about the viscosity change too.
In 2010, the cars were using 5w-30 as stamped on the oil fill cap. The intervals for oil change were 5k.
This viscosity of oil is available as DINO OIL, SYN BLEND, and FULL SYNTHETIC.
In 2011 the cars were changed to 0w-20 as stamped on the oil fill cap. That's when the oil change intervals changed to 10k.
0w-20 is only made as a SYNTHETIC oil.
That's the biggest reason for the change in interval.
I have a 2010 which calls for 5w-30 viscosity. I use the synthetic 5w-30 Mobil 1 anyway.

From what I understand, Lexus is using 0W-20 (or 20, can't remember). I'm pretty Toyota (Camry, Highlander, etc) is using this viscosity oil on their cars with this engine.
Been using Mobile1 for about 20 years, never had a problem with the engine as far as oil consumption, economy, etc.
