Factory Nav unit instal in base model es350
Hey guys so I have a 2007 es350 it did not come with nav unit when I bought it back in the day. But I recently bought a factory Nav unit for the 2007 from the dealership. When I went to go instal it the harness didn't connect. Can someone help me or tell me what I need to do next like find a harness adapter

I'm surprised that the dealer sold you the factory navigation unit, without first informing you of how involved it is to retroactively install one.
Didn't the dealer check your VIN and give you any warnings? From what I've read, it is a real chore to retro-fit the factory unit. You might want to look at some aftermarket options and hopefully return the OEM unit back to the dealer (and get a full refund because they didn't fully inform you or check your VIN).
But if you do end up retrofitting one, you'd be a hero! I don't think it's ever been successfully done before.

In order to install it you need to replace the complete wiring harness and purchase the support modules. I think you may need to replace the ECM . The easiest way is to remove the dash to remove the harness. Good luck as I think this will be a 1st.
