Hi all,
The back of my passenger seat rattles, resonating when going over bumps (and not weighted with a passenger). I've lifted my back on the driver's seat and it doesn't seem to rattle over the same bumps.

Any ideas how to tighten it up?

This was an ongoing issue in my ES350. I have a great dealership. They tightened the seat everywhere they could. They worked on the center console and some other things. Nothing took care of it. I solved it by stuffing a small towel between the seat and the center console. This eliminated it completely. The idea is to have the towel absorb the vibration. So it has to be thick enough to be tight in the space. I used a towel that was very much the same color as the seat. So you couldn't really see it. Plus, I pushed it pretty far down so it was not noticeable. Never heard from the seat again.

But that would restrict seat movement.

I'm starting to think I recently overinflated my tires which is causing resonance through the body up to the chair.

Will give it another look and report back.

Not at all. The towel - obviously - is soft and pliable, allowing the seat to move easily.
