Default Please Help fog lights

Hi I'm a new member to this club and I'm wondering how would I have to take this off my Fog lights

Did you use rubbing compound or some kind of solvent on them?

Or, perhaps much higher wattage bulbs were used that melted and damaged the lens. Is the damage on the inside or outside of the lens?

You can feel it on the outside and it's not the first I seen it on what part of the fog light would I be ordering if has to be replaced?

Looks like it's melted to me. I think that the OEM bulb is 9006 51w. I have 55w halogens that I run a lot and I have not had any damage. I may switch over to LEDs in the future.

Try ebay for replacements. I see used ones for about $30 and new (replicas?) for about 80

This why why you don't put aftermarket bulbs in your foglight housing.

+1 You might want to shop Ebay as well as Toyota sometimes sells the same part for less than a Lexus dealer. That's quite a bit of money considering you need both sides. Have you figured out how it happened yet?
