Just wanted to say, that the Carista app is being beta tested with iPad and iPhones. I've been testing it for about a month now. It's been working great. You can set any of the personal settings like lights, dash, ac and heat, rear screen, etc. and it works great. It's also a great code reader for your check engine. I purposely caused a fault so the Carista app would find the code. (I know what I'm doing with cars). It found the fault code and I was able to clear it. The app should be ready for prime time soon. I am not affiliated with Carista, just a beta tester. Those with the android app that's been out for a while love it. Just wanted to mention for those with iPad or iPhone. Mike.

My understanding is that it's a standard code reader for faults. It's not going to tell you the rpm, temp, timing, etc. if there's a fault, it will give you the code and give you the option to reset the fault code.

Sounds great. I got an invitation to beta test and am wondering what you guys are using for your Wi-Fi ELM327 device? I've looked at a lot of them, but most have bad reviews.

I bought the MOACC from Amazon. It's been working great. Carista just updated the app. Now on version 1.007. They are definitely making it better each time. It's getting faster, better connectivity, and easier to use. I've used it on my es350 lexus as well as 2 Toyota vehicles. RAV4 and Camry. So far so go.
