Default RPM at highway speed

I am wondering where I might find the approximate rpms for being in 5th and 6th at 70 miles and hour. I am wondering if it is shifting into 6th as the mileage is significantly lower than the AVG shown in the display.

If youre manually calculating the mileage then it is going to be more correct than the display. Are you looking at TANK AVG or just AVG? you know you can reset it by pressing and holding the display switch button right?

On mine with OEM wheels/tires (about 1/2 worn tires) at an indicated 60 mph the RPM in 6th is a tweak under 1800.

Mine is virtually dead on 2000 at 70 mph with new-ish Michelins. Recalibrated through the on screen setup when I bought the tires.

I am pretty sure it was tank average.

So between you and oldgrump above, mine seems to be right in there too. I was wondering if it was shifting into 6th or not but have since verified with manual shifting that it does in fact go into 6ht.

Thanks for your replies.
