Just bought an 08 E350--good deal?
Hi all,
i am a new owner of an 08 e350 that i just bought from a dealership yesterday. after searching so much i was able to find this one with 40k original miles, previous 2 owners but with lexus records. clean car fax. checked the car and had no evidence of any accident.
real clean interior, the only thing i saw was one headlight is yellowed out but thats small and can be restored.
Out the door with tax,tag,registration i paid $16k.
Not sure if this was an ok deal or a good deal?
Its a charcoal grey outside on black interior. options include heated seats and xenon lights with AFS, TPMS. not sure which ones are standard.
i owned a 02 es300 for past 8 years and just sold it and got this one. hope this one runs with no issues.
what do you guys think?

Sounds pretty good - I paid $20,900 private party for my 07 ES350 with 48K on it, but with a few more features like nav and the ultra-luxury features, but not including registration or a warranty (which I picked up separately from AAA). Considering you got it from a dealer and it's in good shape, I'd say you did pretty well.

A "good deal" is highly subjective.
Water in the trunk and flat spare tire within a week of purchase? I would be pissed!
I would definitely be taking the car back to the dealership and having them address these issues.

I would more concerned about these issues vs. the deal since that is water under the bridge.

Water hasn't returned ever since I dried it out even thought it's been raining here a lot. Maybe it was from a car wash with open trunk or something.
Spare tire busted I knew and found it a minor issue since the car is very clean and almost like new. Just wasn't sure about the price I paid and thought you guys would know better.
