Buying a cpo 2009 - over 60k miles
My first post:
I am about to buy my first es 350. Looking to buy a 2008 or 2009. Over 60 k too risky? I plan on keeping this car for a long time

2008 with 91k
Just got mine, it's beautiful. Researched the heck out of it before buying. Lots of folks here say if you keep up with the regular maintenance, these cars will last a really long time.
My neighbor has over 220k on his 2000 ES, and is just now having to make the fix or buy decision.

I bought a CPO 2008. They didn't catch the water pump was leaking and the lumbar motor was bad on the inspection. Covered under my warranty but I would have had them fix it even if I didn't have the CPO. I found the issues within 2 days of purchase. Otherwise the car rides great. It is not feature laden (don't know if you are looking at a model with nav. But it is tolerable without nav. Im happy with my purchase.

I too have a CPO 08 non-nav; I actually like the non-nav units better - there's less to go wrong in my opinion and the nav systems in cars don't hold a candle to what a phone or dedicated nav system can do. My need for navigation is maybe once or twice a year on long trips and for that, I have two navigation units (well, 2 phones - mine and the wife's) in the car to get directions from.
I used to be wary of buying a pre-owned car with high miles; however this car has been surprisingly good. It's starting to get some of the shake-rattles that I'm more accustomed to with the American brands which is disappointing, but on smooth roads nothing beats the ES ride. Well, perhaps other than a properly equipped LS...

Just got my CPO '10 with 24K. Really loving it! So quiet.
A friend has a '97 with over 250K! Amazing cars, and I certainly hope I can get as many good years/miles from mine!

my 07 with 82k now i bought last year feb with low 40k on it i think
so 15 months around 40k of driving no issues other then the axle was replaced under factory powertrain warranty
and my extended service warranty covered the struts front and rear
the outer tie rod ends and stabilizer links i can consider all those just normal wear and tear for 82k
but the warranty company consdier it mechanical failure so they paid who am i to argue with that lol
but i think your safe i have seen 07 and 08 models when buying mine i saw them with the upper 100k like 150k and more on them and seemed all fine
