Question Anyone running Michelin Primacy MXM4 in a 225/55-17?

It's tire replacement time and I have read thru all the previous tire threads on the forum.

After my research and limit of choices offered by the Costco tire vendor, I'm trying to decide between the Michelin Primacy MXM4 and the MXV4. I have been to the Michelin website and understand the official specs about tread wear and comfort. In my particular situation I have no cold weather, and limited wet weather. Tread life is not really a consideration because I put on less than 9000 miles a year. My driving style is more aggressive than the typical ES driver; my heart sits in a GS, but my wallet is resistant to pulling that trigger. I'm also wanting to go up from the stock 215 width to the slightly wider/taller 225. I don't give a crap if the speedo is off by 1 mph.

Given the above considerations, my question goes out to anyone running the Primacy MXM4 in the 225/55-17... How do you like them? Would you buy Primacy MXM4 again? And if you previously ran the seemingly gold standard Primacy MXV4's how would you compare the two? Other thoughts/comments?

from my understanding what i found out was the MXM4 was really just a renamed MXM4 with not much difference if any at all from the MXV4 exsept its has a softer rubber i think which is why it lasts less time then the MXV4
its also something that was maid for dealers to use as OEM equipment tires
where the MXV4 is not the OEM equipment
i opted for the MXV4 i have put about 14k on them and they still look new and the balance perfect

"The MXM4 is tuned for improved handling and is one of the better rain traction tires out there. The MXV4 is a standard touring tire emphasizing ride comfort and fuel efficiency more."

"the MXV4 will generally give you a slightly longer tread life"

I agree.
Bought MXV4s for the ES350s I owned.Great tire!
Though,I'll go MXM4s on the GS.

Im pretty sure that the MXM4 does not even have a mileage warranty at all mostly im guessing because they know that they run down fast
i know i have read about pissed off consumer complaints of these MXM4 only lasting anywhere from 20k to 25k
