225-30-22, some grinding on the rear strut towers, 22x8 inch rims. no rubbing

Personally, I like to keep the rim size at or near the factory specs. If you like how your 22s look OP, thats all that really matters. I would have to say I've seen worse looking wheels on other Lexus.

Yea, not a fan. Too Blingie for me and I would be to scared to drive it in rough terrain you know like speed bumps and pot holes.

i don't know how the ride of the ES is with 22s i also don't care much to find out
on my cadillac seville i had for several years i put 22s on and like 3 days latter after 500 miles of driving i got ride of them sold them for less than what i paid lost about 1000 dollars by selling tham quick just to get rid of them
put 20s on and it road really awesome handling better then it did with the 22s and the factory 16s had a little ruffer of a ride than factory but way better and smoother than the 22s

they ride pretty good. i have a little shimmy over 65 so i think i need some hubcetric rings.

yeah those might be a good idea to try

also somehting to give a shot first
locate somewhere that has a Hunter RFB Road Force Balance Machine
get them Road forced i bet that will probably take care of any shimmy if not then go with the hub centric's
