Default Alternative tires to Bridgestone Turanza

Can anyone suggest a better alternative for the Bridgestone Turanzas that came with my 2008 ES350 at around the same price? I am in the market for a new set of front wheel and soon a new set of rear wheel tires. These are good tires but I just want to look at my options for a comparable or better tire without having to spend too much more.

Look at Michelin with a mileage warranty. I've had Kumho tires on my 2007, okay ride when new but when worn, not so good. I am in the same spot with the Bridgestones. For the next set on my 2011, I will buy three of the Bridgestones that match and use the full size spare as the fourth new tire. I will then just take the best of the four used and use that as the spare. After that, who knows. By that time, maybe I'll be looking at a 2015 leftover model in late 2015.

Do a search here on tires and you'll find a lot of information and reading material.

+1 For the Michelin Primacy MXV4's.
They are about as quiet at the Michelin S8's (Stock-OEM), without the crappy treadwear rating.

I also run Michelin X-Ice2 Tires in the winter, and they run just as quiet, maybe even quieter as the rubber is quite soft.

really my favorite micheline isn't even on the market anymore I drove with Hydroedge tires i have been or had been riding with them for nearly 4 or 5 years before that i had symmetry on all my car's

if they where still makeing the Hydroedge i would have gone with those before the Primacy and i am not sure if i would have found the ride i like now even more then before

+1. You'll learn more from the thread link below than you will by rehashing it here:
