I bought a 07 in march of 07 and bought the Lexus platinum warranty right at the 4 year period. Never used it until this month. The motor inside the drivers side mirror stopped working, and it developed "bubbling" on the steering wheel buttons. Both where covered 100%. Otherwise it would have cost me $900 at the dealer. IIRC I paid about $1450 for the 100K/3 additional years warranty. So far I'm still upside down about 500 hundred bucks, but the peace if mind has been worth. I plan on getting a new ES in DEC.

Ditto above. Fixed the broken passenger side front window assembly when it came apart on my 2007. Would have been a $800-$900 out of pocket cost, was $0 and just a signature. When we traded the 2007 in, received a check for the unused portion of the extended warranty.
