I'm trying to change my license plate bulbs to LED but cant figure out how get to the bulb. I've already removed the carpeted cover but cant seem to figure out how to get the bulb out.....can someone help plz

They are LEDs.......it's mentioned in your Owner's Manual.

Im changing them to a bright white 6000k led.....i believe they are 5000k colored now

You have to remove the trunk lid liner on the inside of the trunk to access the bulbs.

I'm also trying to replace my license plate light bulbs and i was able to remove the trunk liner but instead of locating a bulb that i would twist counterclockwise (like in any video i found on yt), instead i located two rectangular housings for the lights. Am i able to access the bulbs by taking the housing out (if so how do i go about doing so)? Or would i have to just replace the whole housing itself?
