Broke Side Mirror Clip
I took off the side mirror to change out the puddle light to LEDs. I ended up breaking one of the clips on the back of the mirror (link below, didn't resize). I managed to re-install the side-mirror and everything seemed tight and good. After driving for about 1 week, I noticed the mirror is loose. I noticed that on the back, there is some WHITE sticky goop so I moved that to the bottom part of the mirror to temporarily hold the mirror in play. Another week goes by and the mirror is loose again.
1) What can I do to ensure the mirror stays on tight?
2) What is this white sticky goop? I can use more to make it tight?

Thanks SICK350!
I had a local person showed me how to properly re-install the mirrors. Apparently when I put back the bottom clip, it didn't click all the way and was only held together by partially connected clip and the white goop (grease). So after a while of driving, the mirror would loosen.
Friday night I managed to re-install it properly. Once done properly if you tilt the mirror all the way up, the bottom part of the mirror should remain tightly in place if you apply pressure near the top portion of the mirror OR lifting the bottom part of the mirror shouldn't loosen the mirror. This shows that the mirror is tightly installed.
I'll monitor for the next few weeks and report back. Hope the above helps someone.
