What kind of gas mileage do you get with your ES 350?

Lead Lap
Real world calculations (1-2 mpg less than the car's optomistic computer): 25-27 mpg when driving about a 50/50 city/highway mix, and 28-30 mpg on long freeway trips @ 75-80 mph.

37,000 in 15 months, obviously mostly interstate. Mine is a 2011 calling for regular 87 octane which is all it ever gets. . I run Lucas FI cleaner every 10K miles. If I sit the cruise at 76 I'll see 29 all day long.
Drop it to 68 and you'll fall asleep at 32 mpg.

I'm always afraid to use additives...but sounds like you've done well with this Lucas product

I will also advocate for the Lucas fuel system cleaner. Used it in every car I've ever owned and it works wonders. Even quiets down the annoying injector tick that these toyota motors are known for.

I really don't think a/c would make a difference in our cars. Maybe 1mpg at most. The systems are much better designed and much more efficient than they used to be.

the best mpgs i get during spring and fall when i dont use the a/c. howerver the worst mileage is during the winter expecially when temps are in the 30's or below.

Also, when it snows and you have to give the car a little extra love to pull through it, that isn't helping mileage either.

That will have more to do with winter mix gasoline (more ethanol) and the fact that you probably let your car idle for long periods to warm up before driving which kills mileage averages.

actually here in texas we have days in a row where temps go to the 60's , 70's sometimes 80's during the day. and when those days happen or when you see warmer that usual days, mpgs go up. if we get those bitter cold days, then MPG's go significantly lower than normal. so more than the winter mix, it is the temperature taht affects MPG's. Besides in the spring, before they EVEN swith to the summer blend, my MPG's improve a lot...

I've been completely happy with the mpg on my 2011 ES350. Even though I put premium in to keeping the idling low, I got consistent 27mpg avgs per tank during the winter and now with the warmer weather I've been getting 28 & 29mpg per tank. That's with premium mind you but I'm very happy with those numbers. I'm getting almost 500 miles per tank!!

ok a lot of people have mentioned using premium fuel. How important is this really? I got some of the Lucas fuel system additive...and not entirely sure how often to use that. (or how much)'
I think I need a tutorial...lol

IMO it's really a personal decision and you can't go wrong either way. I had a 2007 and a 2010 ES350 and used regular unleaded nearly all of the time. Other owners have had good results with premium. It's really up to you.
