constant beep when I enter unlock and enter car
Sometimes when I unlock and open drivers door to enter the beeping stays on till I close the door.
Normally upon unlocking and entering the beeping is heard for one second only.
What is causing the continuous beeping sometimes??
Thanks for your help!

are you accidentally hitting the button on the door handle as you're entering the car with the door already open? This sends a signal to the car to lock the doors and when it detects one still open, it beeps like that.
Or, I could see it being a low battery warning for the proximity key. Have you noticed your remote range going down lately?
Only other thing I can think of is if you hit the lock button on the proximity key when the door is already open.

solved!!
Thanks for your input...you were right on the money!!
For future owners who encounter this problem...........
I was touching both the inside black switch as well as the outside one when opening the door.
This has also taught me that touching the black plastic nub on the handle also is a third option for locking the car doors. I have owned the es350for two months and found there is quite a learning curve to today's high tech cars
