any way remote can open windows??

Yes, press and hold down the 'open-lock' button on the key fob until the windows open and if you keep holding the button down it will open the sunroof as well. I believe the remote is programmed this way automatically from the dealer at no charge. Have you tried the above method?

My remote will not lower my windows. I can hold the button in on the door handle and it will raise my windows. I'll have to check with the dealer on why I don't have the window-down feature. It may have been accidentally disabled.

After never using the feature on any Lexus I've owned and seeing my neighbor's ES with moonroof and windows open in the rain after probably sitting on his keyfob or whatever,I asked my service advisor to eliminate that feature on my '12.He said Lexus took the feature off the '12's.
However,it can be programmed back if desired.
Normal.

Too bad the windows and moonroof don't close automatically via the windsheild wiper rain detector.

That would be a great and probably not very hard to program in.

There are tons of things that you can program yourself by either having techstream or Carista. I've had Carista since it was first introduced and use it on both of my vehicles and my daughters Sienna.
