Wheel tire advice urgently needed for es350 please
Hi all i need some rim advice quickly. I just bought a beautiful 2007 es350 ultra luxury. Car is great but wheels are in bad shape. The current set up is stock 17 inch rims with run flat tires which are 225/50/17. I have a great opportunity to buy some awesome is250 wheels and tires from a 2006 is250. These are 225/45/17 with 17 inch wheels. I am not very technical but will these fit. Need yes or no answer please. Any other advice welcome. THANKS SO MUCH!

Hey there,
Use this site: http://www.rimsntires.com/specs.jsp
And for reference, the ORIGINAL tire size was 215/55/17, so someone probably replaced the tires before you bought the car. If you use the 225/45/17 tires, its going to be about 5% off (its recommended that you dont exceed a 3% difference when swapping tires/wheels).
Hope it helps. BTW, a 45 series tire will make the wheel well on the 2007 ES350 look really big. You can search for one of my post where I put IS350 wheels on my car.
Good luck.
Oh and short answer would be: No, dont swap those tires/wheels onto your car. Find 18" GS wheels if youre not going to lower your car.

do yourself a favor. Go to the tire rack or whomever and get the exactly correct spec tires for your car. anything else throws off the way GOD (Lexus engineering) intended things to be.
1. run flats are a bad thing get them off your car fast
2. It's a Lexus not a 96 Civic do not supe up or down stay stock
3. remember the spare! too many people take care of the tires on the road but never check the condition of the spare to make sure it's there when you need it!

Use this site for rim and tire size calculations. It will give you a chart to show size / speed comparison from original to upgrade. Keep as close as possible. I used this for my Nissan 350Z and it worked perfectly.
