Default How to default NAV screen from map to audio view

When not using the NAV I usually listen to the radio options.
When I choose an option, lets say satellite radio, a short time later the screen reverts to the NAV map screen. Is there a setting which allows me to change the screen from switching from the audio to the map mode?
Thanks for your help!

There is that option on the menu. I change back and forth, seems I like to revert back to the Navigation screen. Then a few months later, I switch it so that you need to manually switch it. Can't make up my mind.

I am aware that there is an AUTO setting that you can turn off to keep the display from automatically switching to the navigation map while driving. However, the issue I have is that the screen keeps switching back to the map after changing gears. For example: I can have the screen on audio and then switch the car to reverse to back out of my driveway. The backup camera turns on but after switching back to drive it displays the map instead of audio which is the last screen I had it on. Does anyone know if there is a way to change this?

the only way to keep it in audio mode is to have it in audio mode when the car shuts off.

if you are on the "home screen" or any other screen when you turn off the car, it will revert back to the map.

if you are on the audio, be it AM,FM, USB, Bluetooth, screen, it will startup on that screen.

The issue I'm having isn't with startup. It's when going from Reverse back to Drive. No matter what screen I had it on previously it seems to go back to the map. Does anyone else's unit behave this way?

sounds like the auto-switch is turned on.. FWIW that feature always reset to "on" when I had a dead battery, or a software upgrade done to my car.

The auto function is OFF but it still happens. I guess it is just a minor quirk I'll have to live with.
