Default wax a new 2012 ES350?

Update: just read manufacture date : 5/2012, so been 3 months since I received vehicle.

Hello all,
A new member here. Just purchased new 2012 ES350 in pearl white w/parchment interior. Have gone through the manuals, and don't see any forewarning regarding waxing the new paint? When I checked with dealership, they said seems like good idea to hold off waxing for 30 days. Haven't gotten thru to body shop. I was wonder whether Lexus provides cars with fully cured paint?

p.s.
Sorry for such a simple topic. Been discussed already, but paint technology changes so fast, perhaps year 2012 paint has idiosyncrasies.

I think that may have been the case years ago, but you've had the car 3 months and should be just fine. Might be a good step to clay-bar it first to get any aprticulates off the finish, then give it a good wax before Fall.

No need to wait, the paint is hard cured at the factory, and odds are the dealership already waxed it when they did the PDI.

I would definitely clay it first.

Look at service record, mine says it was already waxed in preparation for delivery.

The more wax the better!!! Especially if the car is outside a lot.

Default Thanks!

Thanks for replies and sorry for late feedack. I realize I'm not first at this question. FYI, althought the car was manufactured in May 2012, I purchased end of August 2012. I have already washed and waxed the vehicle, adding layer(s) of carnuba for progtection. Looks beautiful.
