HID upgrade light output
Hello all, I'm looking at possibly upgrading my HID's to a higher color temp. When searching the forum there were a few comments about losing light output when going to the higher temp bulbs. For those who have done this mod I thought I would ask for your experience as I don't want to lose light output but would like a higher temp color, what have you found? What bulbs work the best and what have been your experience if you did the fog HID upgrades.
Thank you for your advisory.

I have Phillips Ultinon 6000K in my car. It was brought over as a gift from my friend who lives in Japan. I am pleased with the color but the light output is noticeably less than with stock HID.

Thanks 07LexusGuy, I like the high light output so maybe the 6k's aren't for me. Wondering if there is a 5k bulb that would be a slight change but closest to the 4.3k standard bulbs.
Thanks for your input.

Actually, yes there is an Ultinon 5000K. From what I've heard, they're a bit hard to come by but they do exist. My Japanese friend knows of them.
