Chrome door handles
Ran my 2011 through the same automatic local car wash as I have used since forever. This time, got home and did not notice that the drivers side door chrome trim that surround the keylock was gone until dinner time. Went back to the car wash and they did not see it or find it. Went to my Lexus dealer and he told me it always happens at their car wash (he had some covers in his desk but only had the rear ones). Went to parts and they had a new one. Cost $9 with tax and he snapped it on. Never had this happen to my 2007. Has anyone else experienced this?

I don't go to car wash, but it that the part of the handle that you can ply out if you have to get access for the key to open the door ? if so, i guess it has to be loosy loosy to do so and easily open by rotary brushes in the car wash.

I have not had this problem, but I just don't do automatic car washes with my Lexus, even when I'm at the dealer I tell them to skip it. I never knew they would snap off so easily. Replacement cost is not bad, though.
