Yes, I think you can get the two services done at any dealership. The first at 1,000 miles is of little importance and the next is the 5,000 mile oil change which I believe is still free as it has been in the past.

And Welcome to Club Lexus

Keep an eye out for online coupons from your dealership. They'll save you a few dollars.

Also you can use a Toyota dealership or private shop.

Or you can change the oil & filter yourself. It's not that difficult--several videos on YouTube show you how.

Actually, $50 isn't a bad price if they use synthetic oil.

I am hearing $50 is for regular oil change. question about synthetic, do they recommend synthetic for 350 ES? You still have to change it every 5K.

I used to change my oil on Acura, still do. My wife has Acura RDX, so easy to change oil.... lexus seems to have some extra steps with oil filter.... requires special tools too.

Had my first 1,000 miles service. Took longer for them to drive the car to the service area than the service. They just look at bolts, check fluids etc. The 5,000 mile one is where they change the oil / filter, rotate tires etc. Then you are one your own versus the Toyota brand (Camry), where they offer free service for 20,000 miles. Kind of like getting free wifi at Fairfield Inns but not at true Marriott hotels.

I didn't take my car (2010) in for the 1k service. It was running fine and the dealership where I bought it is too far away to make a special trip. I took my 2007 in for it and remember how quick it was.

I have dealership 3 min from my house, but bought it from dealership 1 hour away. The local ****** did not want to give me $1500 off from what they were asking, so I called dealership 1 hour away, and they match the price. I saved $1500 bucks by driving 1 hour away, same exact car, color, options and everything.

What ****** they are! You should take your invoice by for them to view unless of course, you are planning on using them for service reasons. Congrats on the car!
