Price is all objective. Is the car "mint" etc? What would they sell you a new 2011 for with the big discounts some on this forum are finding? If you can get an '11 for say $32K vs 27.5 for a 3 yr old? At $29,000 I'd buy newer for a few $ more.

I purchased this exact vehicle in June. Same color except interior is light gray. I have Nav, rain sensing wipers, park assist, sunshade, driver's seat cushion extender, HID lights, heat/vent seats and maybe some other stuff. I think the only options I'm without is the UL package with the pano roof and ML sound system. Mine also has the factory installed XM receiver installed (which I didn't care about or even activated).

Mine had 46k miles on it and was a Lexus CPO car - I paid $27k. It was advertised for $28,995 and then had "internet pricing" of $27,500 but I got them to knock it down to $27k before TTL. I also was able to take advantage of super low financing during a CPO promotion. I think there's another deal going on like that now..?

I definitely think you have some wiggle room. The key is to NOT let them know this is the car you want. If they know this is the exact car (color/options) they will probably stick to their guns and you'll have a tougher time negotiating.

I think because of the low miles the price is a bit higher than average. Throw out $27k as an offer. If you end up paying about $28k I still think that would be reasonable if the car is super clean, etc...

Good luck..

Default Me Too

I bought an ES350 just like this one a year and 1/2 ago. And from the dealer that you are seeing. I went to several Lexus dealers in the DFW area and really like the Grapevine dealer. I have a;ways been treated with respect there and believe that I got a great deal. Mine is the Ultra edition and has everything except the ML system. I have driven this car all around this country on several retirement trips. Gas mileage on the Highway will really surprise you. I got 30 mpg and above on each trip. My car is still under the factory warrenty and this dealership automatically applied each TSIB as needed when I bring it in for any service. I just like the way these people have treated me. So I would 'dicker' a little on the price, but you will be getting a superior dealership if you buy there.
