Post HID Bulb or Ballast Problem? Left Side went out after replacing NEW Philips 4.3K Bulb

I replaced a NEW Philips D4S 4.3K bulb on the driver side after the old bulb flickered and died. The new bulb was working great for about 3 weeks straight. Now, it starts to go out after 5-10 minutes of driving. I turned off and on and the light stayed on for 5-10 minutes then went off again.

I just ordered another bulb to see if this is a bulb problem. Could this be the Ballast problem?

How long will it stay on if you are not driving?

It's a common problem that either ends up being because the bulb itself is bad or because of installation error. Perhaps it is not seated right and is a bit loose. I'd try re-doing it.

I got new bulb for replacement and the same thing happened. The bulb still goes out at about 10-15 minutes of driving. The bulb even went out about 10-15 minutes when I was not driving.

Could this be the Ballust or other components?

Thanks.

Try flipping the passenger and driver side bulbs. If the drivers side still dies, it's probably the ballast. If the passenger side (originally the driver's side bulb) dies, then it's the bulb.
