I also had no luck finding a "recall' and wasnt comfortable with spending a couple hundred to a thousand dollars to fix this issue. A buddy of mine got these decals you put over the controls and they actually look pretty legit. He says theyre from a site called 247skins.com and he hasnt had any problems with them peeling. I havent tried them myself but its definitely something im looking into

Since 2010, i protect my interior with Aerospace 303 from uv gettting inside the car, my windows are lightly tinted. That procedure has been good to me, the interior looked brand new. Sunlight is very harsh to any car interior, i protect once a month with uv protectant.

Default I had (had) the same problem. I fixed it. Sort of...

Well, I just painted the damn things. Looks a boat load better than it did.

It is a lot better than paying $300 for the parts. It cost me $4.00 for the paint. And the "skins" were crap that didnt stick. Looked worse.

Lol. well, I used them. Not so great but at least covered the 'oogly' looks.

I'm thinking of taking the bull by the horns and swap them out with the ones for the 2010/2011 models.

Saw a pix on a thread here and it looked great.

Mine with the skin stickers

'10 switch on '08 steering wheels. looks great
