Folks,

I recently borrowed a 2010 ES as a loaner while my 2007 was in the shop. Ugh... This new car fixes all the little gripes I had about an otherwise perfect vehicle......

One is the overhead lighting. It is abysmal in the 2007. The 2010, on the other hand, has these bright overhead lights that every other car on the planet offers...

If I could get this 2010 ES-350 overhead lighting console, could I swap it out? It appears to be the same size.

Any thoughts? Many thanks.

I know what you mean and I bet it would work although my 2010 does have an extra button for the Lexus Assist or whatever it is called. You would have to see the connectors side by side and I doubt if the parts department stocks these so that might be tough. You could also check a wiring diagram.

Start searching the various salvage yards on the web. There are probably some wrecked ES's out there.
