I didn't know how specific we could get on here when I made my post. 2 different dealers were mentioned. The price I got were for a 2010 ES350. Jerry was more upfront and honest on pricing than the other (at least with me anyway) which I won't mention by name. Kudos to Jerry for helping all of us out.

Dealer locally is throwing out all kinds of garbage..saying that his warranty is "certified" and that it can only be purchased at time of buying the car...I wonder why Lexus won't put details of the warranties on their official website. This allows the dealers to lie and deceive about the details. I know they won't put prices out there..that is left to the dealers, but it is not right that you can't read the warranty info online. Acura has it all out there. BTW, when local dealer was asked to email us a copy of the warranty.."oh, we don't have that available online". Yeah, right.

Your dealer just wants to increase his profit off you. I had the same situation - I had printed up the less expensive offer from another dealer, took the offer to my local dealer and told him to match it or I would buy it online with credit card. He matched it. Better some profit than none.

Yes, you can buy until the day before you hit 4 yrs or 50,000 miles, and yes, it is transferrable if you sell the car for a fee. If you trade-in, you can cancel and get a prorated amount back.
Example: I paid $1,540 for a 7/75 Platinum in December of 2007 for my 2004 GX 470. Used the warranty once in 2009 for a job that cost about $1,100. Traded the GX in March of 2010 and got a check for close to $1,200 after canceling.

MA dealer wants you to buy it from him now. Most of the time, the dealer's sales people forget a number of us folks research on the internet and will out maneuver them on some things. Esp on dealer add ons.

Lexus Extended Warranty
Yes, it is still valid.
After reading the post I contacted Jerry Johnson yesterday and bought the Platinum 7yr/100,000 mile plan for my car for $1375. My local dealer has been hounding me to spend $3000 for the same plan.
My 2007 ES 350 only has 31,000 miles on it and has been in service for less than four years. Jerry checked and verified my VIN, took my info and will send the paperwork as quick as he can.
Thanks to everyone for posting this info.... you saved me some nice bucks!

This is what I found by Googling them. I haven't dealt with them myself.

Henri, see this post for contact info:
FYI I just called yesterday and they can also offer a 125k warranty
I am going to do the 125k / 5 years for $1255 that Jerry offered.
Thanks for the tip on Jerry Johnson in Hutchinson, KS. Very nice guy, very upfront about his prices. Our dealer in MA told us all kinds of stuff that I don't think is true. Jerry says the warranty IS transferable one time to a new owner (This may be KS law). MA dealer says "no". He says you have up until 4 yrs or 50k miles from original date put in service to buy it, MA dealer says "have to buy it at time of purchase". Jerry says this covers our 2008 RX400h certified preowned, MA dealer says "his prices CAN'T be for a used Lexus". I like Jerry and I believe him. He is selling us 6yr/100k zero deductible warranty for $1590. This compares to the dealer's quote of $1650 for 5/100k. Each vehicle has a slightly different cost so be aware that quotes mentioned in here may not pertain to another Lexus model. Jerry has lots of options for years and miles of coverage. I'd give him a call: 800-530-5789. Thanks again.

Extended Warranty
I called Jerry at Midwest Toyota (I live in GA); he was very helpful and sounded very honest. He quoted me $1,665 for the 8yr 100,000 mile warranty on our 07 ES (they quoted $2,325 in Atlanta). Jerry said that he sells a lot of warranties, and he makes a little bit off of each one; that’s how he can sell them so cheap. I gave him my credit card # and he sent me an email confirmation. He said I would have paperwork and warranty book from Lexus within 2-3 weeks.
I will update once I receive my paperwork.
