That was our take away from two Infiniti test drives. The seats are firm and more sculpted than the Lexus. We preferred the Lexus seats for long distance drives.

I think the seats in the new Maxima are more comfort oriented although I really didn't spend much time in one.

I was 31 when I bought my 2008 ES 350 and the more I drive it the more I like it. Very comfortable, quiet highway cruiser, with more than enough power and great gas mileage, especially for its size.

I am 29 and I love my ES. Super quiet and comfortable. I actually enjoy driving long-trip again! My only complaint is the front-wheel drive and bad cornering ability, but well that's not what the ES is for anyway.

IS is fun to drive (rear-drive, sportier suspensions, etc) but it is too small if you are planning to carry family members or go to Costco, and the ride isn't as comfortable.

I am coming from a heavily modded MB C class, no regrets here

Good to see another youngster in an ES. It is amazingly comfortable. I commute almost 35 miles each way to work so the comfort was a must have for me.

I'm 72 and like the ES 350. The navigation IMO is not as good as the nav in my RL.

The RL also handles better on turns.

Hey HondaDrive, i'm 24 and i drive a ES350. I wanted a car tuned for comfort for our nasty Montreal roads, reliable, fuel efficient, and awesome looking!

IS cars are beautiful, but i drive over speed bumps and potholes more than i take nice curvy roads, so it wasn't an option. The ES was a pure winner for me.

If you're that worried about the looks you can always do some mods to it like smoke the lights or something.

I knew going in that people would think i was taking mom&dad's car but i didn't care.

GET THE ES! its an amazing value for the money, and one of the few cars JDpower gives 5-star reliability rating to!

We have an ES, I'm 47. When I drive it, all I want to do is sleep in it. It is a sleepy car. Nice and quiet, serene, but too soft. Our IS was a bit too stiff, and too small. I like something in between. Our Accord is the perfect balance between hard and soft.

Comfort is very important to but I also want a youthful looking car. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.
The ES350 is a luxury ride and does an excellent job at it. If you are also seeking sporty performance, suggest you also consider something much lower to the ground with a mid or rear engine. This is my approach. When I want to cruise in quiet comfort I take the ES. When I have a need for speed and high performance handling I go with the the "fun car" as my wife calls it. Else you end up with compromise which IMO results in disappointment.

Just got my wife an ES 350, we are both 33. She drives it & I do the MODS & IMO it's got enough get up & go when you need it. We have 2 school age boys & the car provides a comfortable ride & roomy enough for them in the back seat. I've also got a TAHOE for the times when we really need room. Check out my photo & you'll see that the ES can look SPORTY also;-)
