I broke my side mirror yesterday and was wondering whats the best way about getting a new one? its 2010 ES... what would you guys recommend? any good sites out there that sell replacements?

If you are looking to replace the entire mirror you can web search for used parts at wrecking yards. You may be able to find one in good shape and the correct color and compare cost to buying an OEM part/parts.

The Original poster mentioned he BROKE his side mirror.. what u have listed is the plastic casing.

i have a similiar case. my 2007 es350. i have broken /scratched/dented the outer plastic casing. shattered it . for couple of inches and stuck it back.. the mirror assembly is intact anf working correctly. I took it in the dealer and asked him if he can replace the plastic case. he said NO. and the entire mirror cost.. 1060$... strange.. I think I will buy the one listed on ebay and see if I can fit it myself.

someone on ebay is selling a same color mirror full assembly . but it doesnot have the actual GLASS. can i buy it and get a technician to swap out my glass and put this one in ? any idea

Did the guy give any reason to why wouldnt be able to replace the plastic piece? did you mention to him you would be able to bring in the case yourself and jsut have him install it? or no?

He said that THEY( the dealer do not dissemble the mirror and it would have to be a complete Replacement.

hence asking him if I bought in the plastic case etc, seemed futile. I know an independant body shop who works on lexuses and I will ask them if they can do it.
