Not sure if anyone had this problem but sometimes I share the car with my friend and his memory position is set to [1] and mine is set to [2]. Whenever the car is not in memory position [1] and the ignition is turned off, it automatically goes back to memory position [1] when I unlock or open the door after 10 to 30 seconds. That function really bugs me when I have to re-adjust my seat or tap on memory position [2] every time I unlock/open the door. Is there any way to turn it off and just leave the car seat position as what it is when the car is turned off?

Check your owner's manual to make sure what I'm saying is correct, but I believe you can sync your key to the memory positions 1 or 2. If you use 2 keys, let your friend sync key 1 to that position and sync your key to position 2.

MikeP is right - sync your keys to your driving positions and it will accomodate both of your. It sounds like at least one of the key fobs is already linked to Mem Position 1.
