Default Computer modifications-Recall

What cars presently have computer programs that will reduce the fast engine revs when you quickly apply the brakes? I think Mercedes and a few European cars are on this list.
It seems that 3 items are currently being mentioned in the media that Toyota is considering to correct this issue:
1.Label on dash indicating emergency stop procedures.
2.Accelerator redesign.
3.Computer modifications.
Does anybody have any updates on other modifications on the ES 350 that are being considered?
I currentlly have a 2010 ES 350 (silver/black) on order to be delivered 12-05-09, and plan to have a 3M clearbra installed the front of the car for $600. Also, I have arranged to have the Michelin MXV S8 tires traded out and a set of new Michelin MXV Primacy tires installed for $650, (which includes a credit for 4 S8 tires of $200). The Lexus dealers can not install the Primacy tires, because they are H rated (215/55/17) and the car comes standard with V rated tire. Due to liability issues, they will only install tires with the same speed rating as the origional tires sent from the factory.

Why not get the Bridgestone Turanza Serenity tires?
V rated and Tire rack survey has them a quieter and better riding tire.
They would be my choice.

The Primacy was better on light & deep snow and ice surveys in tests in both the current issue of Consumer Reports and Tirerack owners surveys, although both of these tires are a tossup when you look at Tirerack's owner survey-Grand Touring A/S. The OE tire on the ES 350 that surprised me most was the Bridgestone Turanza EL400. When you view its rank on Tirerack, it is in the bottom 1/4 ranking of the Standard Touring A/S and has a wear rating of 260, compared to wear ratings of 630 on the Primacy and 440 on the Serenity, both of which are also in a higher classification of Grand Touring A/S. Plus, I do not need a V rated tire.

Most OEM tires stink.
Both tires aren't great in snow and ice.The difference between the two is probably very small.
I'd opted for the Serenity for the better ride quality and they're quieter.

The dealer must love you...tirerack 4 Primacy $556, so $336 if you get $200 for yours
