Question semi intro/coilover concerns jitters if you will........

hello gentlemen!First off i just bought a es350 on august 27th 2008. Charcoal grey blk interior. I have the oracle hid kits on order for the headlights and the fogs. 8000k. i want it to match with my license plate leds.So far i've changed the door bulbs to led's. and have added 3pc 22 inch Forgiato Andatas staggerd fitment 22x8.0 frnt 22x8.5 rear. Black lip satin face black inserts. I have read your coilover information which i already figured would be the same as that of a 2007 Camry but was just confirmed by your write up moky. Here goes my question. with megan coilover set up what do you do about alignment???? i have had a 1997 camry, and a 2004 solara slammed to the floor 1997 on 19's and the 2004 solara on 20's and then 22's. but the problem that i have is negative camber. If I complete this intall will i be going through tires every 3-5,000 miles??????? also because i have 22 inch rims the drop that i need to get the toy car look that i want is about 1.5 in frnt and 1.8inches in the rear will i still get that harsh and stiff ride that your are talking about? i'm currently running the nitto neo gen 235/30/22 and with the stock suspension i hardly feel any differance from the stock wheels and tires............. information would be greatly appreciated.......Sorry if this is not a propper intro but new to this computer stuff.

I've been saying Camry suspension would fit the whole time but no one wanted to try it.

Car looks great!

usually you would need a camber kit to correct it if you drop it a lot, but since you only need 1.5" I would recommend just getting springs and shocks. (like eibach prokit/bilstein sports if they make them) or maybe even just springs.

I think if in your perspective u dont feel much difference between a 55 profile tire and a 30 profile, you wouldn't notice much if you just got a modest lowering spring, coilovers however I have no experience.

but bump bump...man your car looks so nice.

if you get the coilovers and just do a small drop like you are talking about, you probably don't have to do the stiff adjustment like me. I slammed the car and both my tires are tucked and i made it the stiffist setting. they are 32 way adjustable so you can choose the setting to your liking.

no problems with the alignment i got it aligned by the same place that installed them. as for the negative camber yes there is negative camber but it is not bad at all.

Negative camber isn't that bad. Make sure the toe is in spec and you will be fine. Non staggered wheels are a plus. You can rotate and flip them for better tread life.

haha.. didnt mean to insult you..my bad.. i just never understood having staggered on front wheel drive cars.. besides the look. Im also debating this whole drop thing/vs stock height... its the price you pay for having a car that looks good.

I've been on hold for almost a year waiting to see if at minimum some lowering springs would be available for the ES350. Now that my current car should be bought back by the dealer, the ES350 is not too far away from my reach. I really like the IS350 because of the performance parts available from the factory, "F". However, I need interior space. I already have some Rays Engineering 19" wheels in the shed waiting to be installed. Seeing a lowered ES350 is the best news I've heard in a long time.

Nice ride and kudos/props for taking the initiative on lowering it.
