if you are taking a loan out for that car the interest rate is probably going to be higher due to it being a used car.

34k is not a good price with nav for a used car, if its a ultra with the sound system, glass roofs, the works- then 34k is a good price as some pay 44k for that car

rocky1, good luck with your decision. If you don't go with the buyback ES350, there are some interesting alternatives for new cars in the $30K-$34K range. Some that come to mind are Acura TL, Maxima, Hyundai Azera, VW Passat, Avalon, Lincoln MKZ, Camry XLE and the new Accord EX V6 that's coming out soon.

By purchasing a buy back, you are only asking for problems. Plus, you won't have the same support from Lexus Corp as the original owner; in other words, you won't have the same opportunity for a buy back of your used repurchased car. At least people who purchase a new es350 get the opportunity for Lexus Corp to buy back their cars if the transmission becomes an issue.

I definitely would not purchase a prior buy back es350. In addition to the risk of having a "problem" car that Lexus won't buy back, people who have their cars bought back typically don't baby their cars after they get notified of the buy back. About 3 months passed between notification of my buy back and the actual buy back. So within those 3 months, I definitely didn't treat my es350 like I was going to keep it for the next 5-7 years.

If you only have 34k to spend, I would purchase an Acura TL.

I've given you all the ammunition you need, the simple word is AUCTION.

Some simple work has provided me with 4 recent ES350 sales and prices range from $8,500 to $28,000 - the low end was an unrepaired flood vehicle, two had title blems, and the high end was an estate auction.

No mine wasn't a UL version. It was a premium plus with Nav.
The most important thing for me is that I bought the color I like, Golden Almond with kashmere interior.
