Default Giovanna Sabina 19 X 8.5

Well, I finally did it . I placed my order at the local custom wheel shop for a set of 19 X 8.5 Giovanna Sabina Chrome with Black Cap for my Crystal White 350. I am going to run Toyo Proxe 225/35/19. I should have the wheels installed in the next couple of weeks and will be sure to post pics and let everyone know how the ride is, shouldn't have any rubbing but you never know.

For those who have installed larger wheels, have you had any braking issues due to more weight?

Your brakes will act the same with the new wheels. Good luck.

Beupopa -

Thanks for the advice. How is the overall ride? Do you experience any rub?

the wheel wells are too big. and the wheels just dont look proportional.

i don't think this car was made for fixing up.

it looks better with 22's or 21's:

Not the wheel wells too big, no such thing. For one its the angle of the picture/the way the car is parked, two, he needs a drop, three I think the tires are too small.

SICKLEX -

What size tires would you suggest. I agree, the car will need a drop (which I plan to do when Eibach or Tein comes out with a set for the new ES). I can still make a change to my order for a different size tire so I am now looking for advice.

It should be 225/40-19 but I recommend 235/40/19 with your 8.5 wide rim.

A 35 series tire is too thin and will also throw off your speedometer some.

Changed order to 245/45/19 Falken 452. I will let you know how the ride is and post a picture when the wheels are installed this weekend.

I wouldn't trust this wheel shop. They keep selling you the wrong size tire as they are just trying to sell wheels.
Maybe cancel your order and call our vendor D-2?

ALso, not a big fan of the brand. I learned the hard way, buy quality wheels.
