Took delivery of my ES in June '06 and loving every minute of it. Now I see the Altima ads and am thinking, "Why the h*** doesn't my "Luxury" car have a nav system with traffic updates? Will Lexus offer an upgrade for current owners? If Altima owners can enjoy an "XM Nav Traffic" system why can't we?!

They won't have that feature in 2007 ES's........but maybe in future models.

Nobody knows what Lexus has up their sleeves.

ill tell you why your luxury car doesnt have this feature. its because its a luxury car. Nissan needs to find some way to compete with not having prestige, quality etc etc, so they need these little gimmicks to steal customers.

i am thinking that since they have it in the LS, it will slowly trickle down as times go on.

Lexus will add Nav Traffic all across the board soon. Next car with this service is the LX 470 & LS 600h.

Best thing is to write to Lexus corporate and tell them to hurry it up with the other models.

If it's good enough for Acura, Nissan, etc. It should be on the ES350. Saving time on crowded "freeway" systems is great. When you get ready to sell this puppy in a few years you can be sure that in any market with serious traffic (the vast majority of locations to be sure) this is going to be an option people care about. Lexus should offer a firmware upgrade for the 07 ES350.
