Upgraded Wheels for ES 350
Has anyone had any experience purchasing aftermarket wheels through their dealer? I will be upgrading to 18's (don't want to change the suspension and you almost have to for 19's or 20's) in the next couple of weeks and during my last service visit I had a conversation with the service rep on the subject of aftermarket wheels. He said that upgrading to a larger size wheel and tire would affect the ride (already knew that) but they did offer aftermarket wheels through the service department (apparently they will order from aftermarket company, similar to Discount Tire).
What should I expect if I order from the dealer (Mark up, limited selection, etc)? All of my previous cars had aftermarket wheels but they also didn't cost almost 50K.
Any help is appreciated.

tirerack.com has a few selections for our cars. I pretty sure the 18" GS wheels will probably fit. They are 18 x 7.5 with a 45 offset. Our stockies are 17 x 7 with a 45 offset. Just wider by .5in is not going to affect the ride that much.

hey. if you go with some bigger dealer wheels, its ganna cost you an arm and a leg. but you can prolly get some good deals on aftermarket wheels. we put 20" x 8.5" all around in our ES. no needed suspension change as u can see in my pictures. and no real rubbing issues neither. you can get away with 20x8.5 but im not really sure how much wider you can go. btw my wheels are for sale. haha
