dont go by price alone, make sure you are getting true lifetime film, most shops bank on you getting rid of the car in a few years and give you 5 year film. That film will turn purple or blue when it gets to be 3-4 years old.
The other thing is getting the rear window tinted in one piece, not in pieces.
You get what you pay for.

I have been reading this forum frequently since I purchased my ES350 last July and have learned some valuable information from it. I have been absolutely elated with this car and I am planning on having the windows tinted soon but I am struggling with whether to have the rear window tinted and if so what % since it does have the automatic rear sunshade. I think the car looks better with the rear window tinted, but a few questions for those who had their cars tinted: what % did you tint the rear window and during the day are you able to see clearly with the rear sunshade in the up position? I know that you can keep the rear sunshade in the down position, but I am just curious of how functional it might be with the window tinted. Thanx for your feedback!

My previous TP w/35% all around (of course, no front windshield tint).
It looked darker with black interior, so keep in mind your interior when choosing your tint %. You can see a few more shots in here from my original post of last year. Yeah, NJ is strict with front window tinting, and I felt uncomfortable going through the police traps, and I used to roll the front windows down. I decided to stay clear with my GS.

IMHO, the pinstripe and the lexus logos on the fender and the gas cap are a little much. But if you like it, don't worry what other people say.
